RUFUS MCINTOSH BESPOKE JOINERY designs and makes bespoke timber joinery for heritage buildings, architectural projects, and high-quality one-off commissions.

Rufus works with architects, builders, and private clients on carefully selected projects where detail, material, and longevity matter.

Specialist Timber Joinery, Made Properly.

Rufus McIntosh Bespoke Joinery designs and manufactures timber windows, doors, and architectural joinery from a dedicated workshop in Cornwall.

Work is focused on traditional construction methods, accurate detailing, and long-term performance in real buildings—not standardised or mass-produced solutions.

Each commission is made with direct oversight from design through to workshop fabrication and installation.

The image shows a workshop with a large unfinished wooden window frame in the center. The workbench is cluttered with various tools, paint cans, and supplies. Behind the window frame, there is a window with a view of green grass and trees outside. The workshop has a rough, unfinished wall with some tools hanging on it and a large window allowing natural light to enter.

Approach
& Experience

Work is informed by extensive experience in heritage joinery and traditional timber construction.

Projects are built around correct material selection, appropriate detailing, and an understanding of how timber performs over time in real environments.
